I took some photos of this beauty a few days ago. She is still named Tippy Harlow for now.

Tippy’s dress is the most stunning thing I’ve ever seen. It really is a dream come true to have a Kenner dressed in a long and flowy dusty pink gown made by Snuffy!

Tippy’s cute stripey pink bow is by Duchess Darling 72.

Blythe Fest 2013 and My Miracle Kenner

I must say I have been looking forward to my first Blythe Fest so so much and have been anticipating meeting everyone in Sydney! It has been a crazy and fun weekend at Sydney for not just me, but for hubby, Ronald as well.

It’s only my second Blythe event and I’m glad this time I had a chance of meeting more “Blythe people” :D. It was really wonderful to see Nat, Katie, Sally and Mim again as I don’t get to see them that often at all. And this time I finally got to meet Sophia, Tammy (who I had the pleasure of sharing a table with), Tara, Janelle, Helen, Deb, Joanne, Maria, Nancy, Danielle, Kim, the lovely Jodie Snuffy and many more!

The trade tables on the day were all pretty amazing! It took me a few rounds of browsing and shopping to take a look at all the gorgeous items at each stall. One of my favourite stall would definitely have to be Katie (222am) and Tara’s (Duchess Darling 72), they have the most awesome range of pink and gold dresses, flower crowns, gold headbands, cute bows, and not to mention their Kenner models were all dressed stunningly! Total Eye Candy! I was also loving all beautiful Chu Things dresses which were sold out before I knew it!

When raffles prizes were being announced it was lovely to see friends win awesome sundries and dolls! There was so many beautiful customs and stock dolls given away! But I must say the Blythe Fest prize that each one of us were eyeing on the day was Tippy Harlow the Kenner, restored and dressed by the lovely Snuffy. Earlier that day, Katie, Sally and I were just talking about Miracle Kenners and how there is a chance for anyone anywhere to find their very own Miracle Kenner, whether it be in an Op Shop, on Ebay or in a competition. I mean, which Blythe collector would not dream of owning a beautiful vintage Kenner, OR to add one more Kenner to their collection that is :). And Tippy was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!

And so in anticipation of the Kenner giveaway, I got more than a little excited for myself and everyone else who had a chance to win this beautiful princess. It wasn’t long that a number was being drawn for Tippy Harlow, and I felt as if I blanked out for a few seconds before hearing Ronald’s number being called out………. and all I could remember was turning around to him and thinking “Nooooooooooooo….. Yessssss we wonnn???” A few happy tears and laughters were shared on our table. It was all just a bit too overwhelming for me, in a happy way of course…… There she is my very own Miracle Kenner (even though it was technically Ronald’s Kenner, I now claim her as officially mine :P).

As much as I wished and prayed that I could be “the girl who won the Kenner”, NEVER did I think I would be that girl. Winning her was like super large icing on top of having such a fun day meeting dolly friends from all around Australia and my day couldn’t have been any more crazy and exciting! I was also happy to see friends (and especially the girls on our table) winning a fair bit of dolls and sundries too.

I must say thank you and what a wonderful job the Blythe Fest organisers did, they put so much of their time and attention into this one day event. The place was so beautifully decorated and everything was so organised!  I’m sure we all look forward to Blythe Fest 2014 already!

School Girl Dress

I have been working on a few new designs lately. This particular School Girl dress is inspired by Punkaholic People’s stock outfit and Japanese Girls’ School Uniforms with the little bow detail. <3
